About
Hi mate! I am Bhumi- a dental intern. I often go by the name @dentistombre on Instagram. I used to have a beauty blog in my school days and was a fashion editor of a digital magazine. After joining the dental school, I've realized dentistry is much more than what a common person thinks, and with time, I fell in love with dentistry.
That's how the idea of starting a dental digital magazine originated.
I am very glad, proud, and excited to announce TOOTH PICK- picking dental insights, which will be issued monthly.
The motive of Tooth Pick is to create a link between dentists and the common. It will be the hub that focuses on awaring people a little more about dental health and dental world and link the gap between dentists and non-dental people
We want this place to be filled with positivity, good vibes, and togetherness. I hope you all have a great time at this little, cozy space and you gain a knowledgeable, fun, and enjoyable experience!

• Interview of a dental figure. We also have a podcast segment on Spotify called "ToothPod"
• Games and freebies every month! To reward you for taking a step towards dental awareness.
We want this place to be filled with positivity, good vibes, and togetherness. We are starting something we all are new at, hence we are starting small. We hope slowly Tooth Pick Magazine grows and more people connect with it❣️

GUIDELINES
• The articles should be original and not copied from the internet. If you take information or data from the internet, mention the source.
• If you are submitting images, do not put large watermarks otherwise they will look out of the place. We will give credits for the articles and the images, of course. Please do not submit images taken from the internet.
• Word limit is 200-400
• There's no limit for the number of enteries you can submit. But we generally pick up the best. However, your entry can get posted in the next edition, if found suitable and interesting enough.
• We are looking for- anything dental related: your first experience in clinics, clinical cases, interesting dental researches, exciting webinars, your experience prepping for NEET or something that gives the common people insight of dentistry! You can also submit your artwork or writings for the "skill corner" segment.
• All the articles should be submitted through email at [email protected]
• Published articles will now be awarded a certificate of appreciation!

Are you interested by the idea of Tooth Pick Magazine and wanted to join the core team?
We have the following teams who are working together to make Tooth Pick Magazine a success:
1- Design and layout team- designing the magazine cover, pages and laying the articles.
2- Articles collection team- collecting original articles, clinical cases, etc for the magazine.
3- Research data presentation team- collecting cool and interesting research articles and posting summary of them.
4- Interview managing team- contacting dental figures and taking interview of them for monthly issue.
5- Social media and marketing team- managing tooth pick Instagram handle:that includes keeping it active, posting dental related posts, edits and posts about the new issues of the mag, and spreading word about it on different personal social platforms.
6- Review and feedback team- reviewing the issue before published (preferably non-dental member)
• Each team member has to submit at least one article for the issue.
• The team members are supposed to spread word about the magazine through social media.
Please note, since we are beginning with the magazine, we do not have any funds. Hence we can't pay our team. The work we do here is completely voluntary and spreading a word about dental to the world!
